The Fortress of Solitude
Daniel Wong I explored the loneliness of many of the places I frequently visited. I depicted this emptiness brought forth by the pandemic using charcoal to push the dark tones of my work. I mainly focused on the decay of each of these places, and I slightly altered the photographs I took to emphasize both solitude and decay. I also added a chaotic element to all of my pieces and this was to demonstrate a descent into madness. |
